The Missouri Department of Natural Resources provides loans to public schools, public and private non-profit hospitals, and local governments for energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. Loans are given at a 2.5% interest rate and a 10 year maximum loan term. This is a reimbursement program. Once projects are completed, the recipient submits a reimbursement request and forms indicating the final project cost to the department for reimbursement. The minimum loan amount is $1 million.
